The museums members run the full range of careers and experience, from a University Professor to Electrical Contractor, Policeman, Railroad Machinist, Railroad Locomotive Engineer, Carpenter, Traffic Planner, University Students and High School Students. Combining all the different skill levels of our various members also helped in making our association a reality. Construction and final trim work would have been a very slow and long process without the help from our chief carpenter, Bill Phalen. Thanks to his skills our building became something very special. All of our members have different interests in the model railroad hobby and it all seems to come together in working on the building and the layout. We try to keep the membership limited to 25 members because of the size restriction of the building, but we always seem to have several memberships available.
The club posed for a picture early in the construction of the layout. This photo is from about November 2002.
Here is a group photo of some of the members taken on August 23, 2005
