Boy Scout Camporee

The Lake Agassiz District of the Boy Scouts of America will be hosting a district wide Camporee on the grounds of the Heritage Center in East Grand Forks from September 23-25. Several hundred Scouts and Leaders are expected for this Camporee.

The club will be open for this event, and for the second time this year will offer interested Scouts the opportunity to earn the Railroading Merit Badge.

Operation Lifesaver Exhibit

A few of the club members brought the Operation Lifesaver display for the Heritage Days festival in East Grand Forks. Here some members of the Association pose for a group photo with the display.

Heritage Days

The Club opened to the general public for the East Grand Forks Heritage Days Celebration, August 20-21, 2005. The new featured item at Casey Holt Junction was the fully restored Gang Car. Check the link for photos of this restoration project.

Campbell Library Exhibit

Here is a photo of a model railroad and railroad memorabilia exhibit displayed at the East Grand Forks Campbell Library as it appeared during the month of July, 2005. The Association will once again have railroad memorabilia on display in November of 2005.
